Treestep is a French, web-based portfolio tracker that reframes investing as a role-playing game: you enter positions manually and it prices 70+ supported ETFs, stocks and cryptos while awarding XP, badges and levels (from Seed to Myth) for journaling, analysis and completing quests. On top of tracking it layers an AI Portfolio Coach that flags ETF overlap and sector overexposure, 80+ investing guides, and community “guilds” with Discord channels. It runs a permanent free tier plus a €9.99/month premium for the AI features and full content. It is early-stage but actively maintained, with fresh content published in mid-2026.
