TradingView is the world's largest charting platform (New York, founded 2011, vendor-claimed 100M+ users) and its screener is correspondingly broad: six dedicated screener types — stocks, ETFs, bonds, crypto coins, centralized and decentralized exchange pairs — over exchanges across every region, with multi-region selection in a single screen. Deep fundamental filters sit alongside dozens of technical ones, and the Pine Script language turns any custom indicator into a screen filter (Pine Screener, Premium plan and above) or a server-side backtest. Alerting is best-in-class: price, technical and whole-watchlist alerts with multi-condition logic. A free-forever plan runs with ads and limits next to four paid tiers, the mobile apps are excellent (4.8★ across ~400k iOS ratings), and the interface ships in 19 languages. Notable absences: no user-accessible data API — the vendor says so outright — and its new AI chart analysis is still a beta browser extension rather than part of the product.

TradingView vs PortfolioGlance
TradingView and PortfolioGlance overlap almost nowhere, and that is the honest answer. TradingView is where you chart, screen and time entries across any market on earth; PortfolioGlance deliberately has no screener, no charts to draw on and no trade signals. What TradingView does not really offer is investment bookkeeping: there is no cost-basis accounting across currencies, no dividend income tracking, no allocation health score, no goal projection. If your workflow is “find and time it on TradingView, then own it for years”, the second half of that sentence is what PortfolioGlance is for — including assets TradingView charts but a portfolio needs to hold, like bonds, cash and real estate.
