Freemium

German ETF portal's transaction-based portfolio tracker with time- and money-weighted returns, rebalancing and bank auto-sync.

extraETF Finanzmanager is the portfolio tracker built into extraETF, Germany's largest ETF portal. It is a real transaction-based tracker — you add trades manually, by PDF or CSV import, or via live bank and broker sync — covering stocks, ETFs, funds, bonds, precious metals and crypto. Its strength is analytics: both time-weighted (TWROR) and money-weighted (IRR) returns, a benchmark comparison against indices like the MSCI World, concentration and risk breakdowns, a dividend calendar with an expected-income forecast, and rebalancing against target allocations. The free tier genuinely tracks one portfolio with auto-sync and PDF import; CSV import, rebalancing, the dividend calendar and the income forecast unlock on the paid Investor and Expert plans.

Best for

German-speaking ETF and stock investors who want serious performance analytics — real TWR and MWR, rebalancing and a dividend forecast — and are fine with a German-only interface.

Strengths

  • Both time-weighted (TWROR) and money-weighted (IRR) returns
  • Rebalancing against target allocations
  • Dividend calendar and expected-income forecast
  • Bank and broker auto-sync, plus PDF and CSV import
  • Free tier that tracks a real portfolio

Trade-offs

  • Interface is German-only
  • No AI analysis
  • No native tax report
  • CSV import, rebalancing and dividend forecast are paid-only
  • No goal projection, custom tags or backtesting

extraETF vs PortfolioGlance

extraETF is one of the stronger analytics rivals in this list — it matches us on true time- and money-weighted returns, benchmark comparison and rebalancing, and beats us on one honest point: it forecasts dividend income, which we don't. Where we pull ahead is breadth and intelligence: AI portfolio analysis and a shareable roast, goal and time-to-goal projection, custom groupings, a composite health score, and an interface in many languages rather than German only. Choose extraETF if you invest mainly in ETFs from a German broker and want deep, German-language analytics; choose PortfolioGlance for the same analytical rigour plus AI, goals and multi-language reach on a free tier with no holdings cap.
