Freemium

Privacy-first multi-asset portfolio tracker for European investors with CSV/PDF import, TWR/IRR returns and an AI portfolio chat — no broker login.

DonkyCapital is a privacy-first, multi-asset portfolio tracker aimed at European retail investors. You add holdings manually or import them from any broker via CSV or PDF (with an AI importer for unknown formats) — it never asks for broker logins. It tracks stocks, ETFs, bonds, crypto and even unlisted assets across 20 currencies, with customizable dashboards, TWR and IRR performance, index benchmarking, dividends, goals and an AI chat that answers questions about your own portfolio. It runs as an installable web app (PWA) with a permanent free tier, and is currently early-access.

Best for

European DIY investors who want a customizable, multi-broker portfolio tracker with proper return math and no account linking, and who are comfortable using an early-stage product.

Strengths

  • No account linking — CSV/PDF/manual only, broker credentials never requested; EU-hosted and GDPR-compliant
  • Genuinely multi-asset (including unlisted real estate and private equity) with 20-currency support
  • Proper performance math: TWR and IRR, plus index benchmarking against MSCI World, S&P 500 or a custom benchmark
  • Highly customizable dashboards and an AI portfolio chat, even on the permanent free tier
  • Goals with return projection and allocation-drift alerts

Trade-offs

  • No automatic sync — every update relies on manual entry or re-importing files
  • Very early-access with a negligible review base; longevity is unproven
  • No native mobile app (PWA only); no public API, open source or self-host
  • Tight free-tier caps (1 portfolio, 100 transactions) and limited weekly AI answers
  • No dividend forecast or custom tags; tax reporting is a premium realized-gains summary, not filing-ready forms

DonkyCapital vs PortfolioGlance

DonkyCapital shares our privacy-first, no-account-linking philosophy and, like us, reports proper time- and money-weighted returns (TWR and IRR) with index benchmarking — plus 20-currency support and even unlisted assets like real estate. The gaps are maturity and depth: it is very early-access with almost no track record, a composite health score and a true rebalancing allocator are unconfirmed, and there is no dividend forecast or shareable roast. PortfolioGlance gives you the same honest returns and privacy stance with a portfolio health score, rebalancing against a target, goal projection and an AI roast, on a proven product. Pick DonkyCapital for broad multi-currency coverage including alternative assets on the bleeding edge; pick PortfolioGlance for the same rigour on a mature tracker.
