**Best for:** US-market stock pickers and traders who want the fastest free scan-and-shortlist workflow on the web — and are fine typing a ticker universe that ends at the US border.

Strengths:
- Arguably the widest genuinely free stock screener — all fundamental and technical filters usable without an account
- Signature market visualizations: S&P 500 heatmaps, sector/industry/country groups, insider-trading tracker
- Elite is cheap for what it bundles: real-time quotes, unlimited alerts, full export with API, ETF holdings data
- Vendor-curated signal screens plus up to 200 saved presets make daily scanning fast

Trade-offs:
- US equities only (NASDAQ/NYSE/AMEX) — the vendor's own FAQ says no international expansion is planned
- Free tier is ad-heavy, and export is entirely Elite-gated — the free plan cannot export a single row
- No mobile app at all, and no language besides English
- The Elite backtester was removed (~2023) — third-party reviews that still praise it are stale
